Skye Sweetnum
Born in 1988 in the small town of Bolton, in southern Ontario, Skye was said to be an attention getter from the get-go. Always filled with energy and spirit she was found to have a loud voice and a want to capture the moment. She was only twelve when her first demo was recorded and her first stage appearance was in a local hair salon where she played like it was a huge concert, the place filled with people. Shortly after, her first debut album was created. Noise from the Basement was aptly named for it was in a basement where the album was created.
She continued on, singing venues world wide, from America to Japan, from stages with Britney Spears to being on her own. This little fashion devil has a fun way of showing herself off and a voice to prove she is good enough for anyone. Her re-creations of disney songs and originals is music that people of all ages can easily listen to and quickly like. And that's why Skye Sweetnum is this month pin-up Musician D.J.
